In 2013 I rented a Largo Home from a company that Waypoint bought. I received a letter informing me that Waypoint had taken over within my first years lease.

I had to put first and last deposit $3000 down, $1000 deposit for the pool and $1000 deposit for 4 dogs. I had to completely install upper bathroom as the shower did not work, the sink was cracked in half and the toilet was illegally installed by a previous owner do it yourself job. I kept the receipts - the company said I would be reimbursed. THEN Waypoint took over - Waypoint then told me they don't take deposits for pools and they didn't keep old leases.

BS BS BS If they didn't have my old lease, then how did they know when it was up?

2 Months before moving out - I totaled the amount they were still holding and subtracted it from my last 2 months rent - THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET MY MONEY BACK - the house was a piece of crap when we moved in and we left it better - WAY BETTER with landscaping and all - NOW Waypoint turned me into Credit chasers without even bothering to send me mail first!!!!! SUE ME - I can't wait

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Your Waypoint Clearwater Office never contacted us - just sent us to FCO - Fair Collections and Outsourcing - I spoke to Heather and she said -sorry, you have to deal with collection and said she would send a list of damages. I have all the before and after pictures and if someone who just give a *** about what happened to us in the rental property.....life would be better.

Waypoint Homes is currently sending us a list of everything that was so called "damaged" when we moved out. Problem is they never did an initial walk through when they took over - so we are ready with before and after pictures - it's 1000% improved because we lived there - ask any neighbor
